2022 Progress update

While the 2022 was a very strange year, the work of genealogy indexing have never stopped.

Below are the highlights of major projects conducted last year.

Kiev Governorate
• Radomysl diistrict 1897 census

• Cherkasy district 1875 census (partial)
• Vasilkov district 1875 census for Fastov, Rokitno, Vasilkov
• Zvenigorodka district 1875 census for town Zvenigorodka

Podolia
• Letichev district 1875 census
• Litin district 1875 census
• Mogilev-Podolskiy district 1816 census, 1818 census (partial), 1834 census, also for town Mogilev-Podolskiy: 1811 census, 1827 artisans list.
• Proskurov district 1875 census
• Gaysin districtMisc. vital records

Volynia
• Novograd-Volynskiy 1834 census, additional censuses 1834-1840s
• Starokonstantinov 1858 census for town Starokonstantinov
• Ovruch 1858 census
• Zhitomir district 1816, 1834 census also partial indexing of misc. censuses for 1816-1828

Chernigov
• town Chernigov 1897 list of residents
• town Oster 1850 census

Minsk district
• Minsk district - YIVO records mostly pertaining to army recruits (1827, 1838,1839).

2020: The very strange year

As we say adieu to 2020, this is the summary of projects, big and small, I have worked on this year.

This year saw a large geographic expension in my projects which covers the following districts across three 19th century Ukrainian governorates.

Kiev Governorate
• Kanev misc. records from 1830s, 1860s, etc.
• Lipovets portion of 1897 census completed
• Radomysl 1834 census
• Skvira district 1858 census and portion of 1874 census completed

Podolia
• Vinnitsa 1850 census
• Litin district vital records 1839-1841
• Olgopol portion of 1875 census and vital records 1839-1841
• Gaysin 1875 census partially indexed
• Bratslav 1875 census

Volynia
• Novograd-Volynskiy 1816-1818 census records
• Starokonstantinov 1811 census
• Ovruch 1858 census mostly done
• Zhitomir 1811 census

A total of 325 articles were posted as a result of many hours of diligent work. Yet this blog remains a one-person party.
