This list of petty bourgeois and possibly merchants from Uman district was compiled in the year 1850 possibly based on the census. The cover page is damaged. The list contains individuals and not families.
It starts with #289 (but skips numbers) and includes two columns of single digit number with no heading row. Another column indicates the group was part of and the year. In most case the year was 1843 and individuals were included in Civil Department (Гражданское ведомство) while a few were listed as farmers.
The list was compiled by compiled by Uman Jewish community merchants Kupits (merchant?) El' Matse(?), Gershko Elkhanan and petty bourgeois Leyba Gnoloskiy/Gpolonskiy.
