Kamenka

Census
1818
This census took place at Kamenka kagal, district of Chigirin on June 24, 1818. There were 336 males and 134 females listed.
Note: The writers have chosen to write last names in the old-style where family names which are typically written with suffix -iy were recorded as -oy. I changed these to more modern version for readability and to allow people to find these records. Somewhere in the middle of the list the writer (perhaps a different one) tried to use more modern form but ended up using -yy [-ый] instead of -iy.
Perhaps writer was not very literate in Russian. First case of mistake is traced to transition from [whom vs is], i.e. ...-skogo to -skoy eventually to -skyy (while it should be pronounced as -skiy).
This series is related to Chigirin district.
